Black Bull Inn, Moffat has operated in Moffat's centre since 1568, making it one of Scotland's oldest hostels. Robert Burns, Scotland's national poet, once inscribed a window at this 16th-century hotel. Moffat is surrounded by the Moffat Hills for scenic walks, Station Park lies nearby, and Edinburgh and Glasgow are just over an hour away by car while Carlisle is 45 minutes away.
